I am a licensed psychologist in GA with over 20 years of experience in the helping profession and 11+ years as a psychologist. I specialize in trauma recovery, stress management, and couples therapy. I provide therapy to young adults from 16-92 years old in GA in person and via telehealth (similar to FaceTime or Skype). I also provide telehealth to young adults outside the U.S.

My focus in working with my patients is to build a strong therapeutic relationship. My belief is that the therapeutic relationship is the model for all l others. The accountability, boundaries, compassion, honesty, mutual respect, willingness to learn about self and the other, openness to change, and the work done in therapy can transfer to how you then relate to others. This can improve your intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships.

We will do this work together by examining unhealthy thoughts that may be keeping you stuck and from living life as freely as you desire. You may be hindered by the effects of trauma, depression, anxiety, the expectations’ of others, the weight of responsibilities, roles, tasks, etc. Whatever the root of the chains holding you back, we will work to identify them, dismantle them, and empower you to live life on YOUR terms.

I take a wholistic approach to therapy by incorporating the mind, body, and spirit in my work with patients. These three are related and affect each other. You’ve probably heard that your mental health affects your physical health, and vice versa. The same is true regarding your spiritual health. If you do not adhere to organized religion or spirituality, that’s OK. We can incorporate whatever resonates with your spirt; be it music, nature, animals, or something else, as long as it is not illegal or unethical.

I use only the most effective therapies and treatments. I’ve invested in learning from the best in order to provide my patients with the most effective therapies. Talking, in and of itself, is not sufficient. You have friends, family, and co-workers to talk with. Working with an experienced and skilled mental health provider will help you garner the results you seek. There is no magic wand. You will work. Change and growth can be uncomfortable. That’s OK. Living life as your authentic self is a greatness we can all achieve if we work at it. Are you ready for change? Are you ready for greatness?
