I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor that earned my B.A. degree in psychology and M.S degree In Mental Health Counseling from Queens College. I received extensive amount of training during my graduate studies and completed my Internship at Northshore LIJ Zucker Hillside Hospital and College Point Wellness Center, a Private Practice. I am also a part of the American Counseling Association and NYMHCA. I have a range of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults and families multiculturally and in a range of settings. Currently, I work in Private Practice and from an integrative approach emphasizing Psychodynamic and CBT.
I believe in order to achieve success in therapy, it first starts with the therapeutic relationship. This relationship is a collaborative relationship that takes effort from both the client and therapist.
