With additional experience working in university career centers, helping hundreds of professionals navigate significant career transitions, Fatim leverages self-assessment tools to aid clients in self-reflecting on their skills and experiences.
Being a woman of color and a child of immigrants, Fatim is personally passionate about supporting and advocating for underrepresented identities in the workplace. She partners with clients to help them set boundaries, overcome challenges, and internalize their success. Fatim received a Bachelors in Psychology from Purchase College, State University of New York and a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University. She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) through the National Board for Certified Counselors and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State. She is currently pursuing her second Masters in Executive Coaching and Organizational Consulting from New York University.
Within the counseling and career development field, Fatim has written a published article for the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) on counseling supervision titled Moving The Counseling Profession Forward: Strategies For Supporting The Personal And Professional Development Of Counselors-In-Training. She is also an active member of the American College Association (ACA) and the National Career Development Association (NCDA).
