Description
One of the great values of obtaining therapy is to experience for oneself the great value of positive support. I strongly believe in meeting my clients where they are, and providing a supportive and non-judgemental environment. I specialize in working with young adults, and adults who have been impacted by trauma, struggling to cope with negative and painful emotions, depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts and behaviors, and relationships.
My experience includes working adults at an Intensive Outpatient Program and Psychiatric Inpatient Unit. I have training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Therapy is enhanced if the therapist enters accurately into the clients's world. Clients will profit simply from the experience of being fully seen and understood. I achieve this by collaborating with schools, parents, guardians, and other providers to provide the support my clients and their family need.
