Therapy saved my life at a young age, when I had the chance to start meeting with a counselor at my high school. Since then, I have wanted to provide this type of support to others, and to serve as a guide for people through difficult times in life. I aspire to help people see their own inner strengths, so they can ultimately live more freely and fully. I take a client-centered approach, and help my clients identify their goals for themselves.
I specialize in trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I partner with my clients to reframe their narratives, so people can look at the facts of their life in a way that’s empowering and illuminates strength.
I have experience working with a wide diversity of clients. I have had extensive experience supporting young parents and families in particular. I am especially passionate about being a resource for people of color, and helping people recognize the ways in which the systems we operate within cause stress.
