Description

Empathetic Connections is a group private practice that offers outpatient psychotherapy. We have experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and age groups and are committed to providing culturally sensitive and inclusive counseling services. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, or any other personal or emotional difficulties, we are here to help. Together, we help clients work towards developing coping strategies, exploring underlying patterns, and fostering personal growth and resilience.

Core modalities of our clinicians include cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based therapies, solution-focused, EMDR and motivational interviewing.

Our team emphasizes the relationships and rapport established with clients. We work to empower clients to overcome their life situations. We believe it is important to collaborate with clients to identify their strengths, weaknesses, interests, and motivations in order to determine the most effective plan for treatment. When you first come to us, we'll explore your issues in depth and make a plan for how we can work together to improve your experience of life. We provide a genuine, nonjudgmental, and safe space where clients are free to be themselves.

We are currently accepting new clients (ages 5 and up). We have immediate openings for weekday afternoon (3pm+), evening and weekend appointments via telehealth. Please visit our website to view clinician profiles and get started today!

This 7-week group is designed to provide a safe and supportive space for African American teen girls to build confidence, strengthen self-esteem, develop healthy relationships, and learn coping skills for stress and anxiety. The program is especially intentional about supporting and uplifting young Black girls as they navigate identity, confidence, and emotional wellness.

“Is This Adulting? Send Help.” is a supportive group for young women, ages 18-25, navigating the sometimes confusing, overwhelming, and uncertain transition into adulthood.
