As an integrative mental health nurse practitioner and meditation and mindful movement teacher, I believe in holistic care and interventions that support the mind, heart, and body. I offer psychotherapy, mindfulness and somatic-based interventions, medication monitoring, and nutrition and wellness approaches.
Therapeutic approaches include Indigenous focusing-oriented trauma therapy (IFOT) which is a form of somatic therapy particularly skillful in healing wounds from complex, intergenerational, race- and oppression-based trauma, EMDR, compassion-focused therapy, and strength-based and person-centered approaches.
I provide affirming, trauma-responsive and racial and social-justice oriented therapeutic approaches. All are welcome including those who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), queer, gender queer, and gender non-conforming. Those with visible and invisible disabilities are welcome. Those who are empaths, artists, and highly sensitive folks are welcome. Come as you are.
I am presently accepting new clients for therapy, coaching, and medication management for telehealth sessions.
I am happy to meet with you for a free initial video consultation to further discuss my experience and approach and your needs to see if we would be a good fit to work together.
