Faith & Feelings: Emotional Regulation for Adults (6-Week Virtual Group)

Do you ever feel like your emotions are “too much” for your faith—or that your faith isn’t “enough” for your emotions? If you’re carrying workplace stress, struggling with boundaries, or feeling weighed down by unmet expectations, this group offers a supportive space to grow.

Faith & Feelings is a premium, intimate 6-week virtual group for adults that blends clinical emotional regulation skills with the wisdom of Scripture (with a focus on the Psalms). Together, we’ll strengthen emotional awareness, learn practical tools to respond (not react), and build a personalized plan you can use long after the group ends.

What to expect
Each 90-minute session includes live teaching, guided Scripture reflection, and practical mindfulness-based regulation tools.

Weekly themes
Week 1: Emotional Awareness – Learn to name what you feel; explore the “lament” model of Psalm 42
Week 2: Emotional Literacy – Expand your emotional vocabulary (if you can name it, you can tame it)
Week 3: Triggers & Responses – Identify patterns and learn to pause before you spiral
Week 4: Healthy Boundaries – Protect your heart (Proverbs 4:23) without guilt
Week 5: Self-Compassion & Forgiveness – Practice kindness toward yourself through a Christ-centered lens
Week 6: Your Personal Regulation Plan – Leave with a customized toolkit to stay grounded
