Individual sessions are co-created with you to provide a healing space aligned with your therapeutic goals from a strengths-based lens to support your physical and emotional needs. Not quite sure what your needs are? We can discover what makes your heart truly smile together. With an emphasis on culturally responsive, somatic, and body-oriented techniques, rooted in cultural/race identity theory, I utilize a thoughtful and reflective practice to promote physical and mental well-being, while also providing trauma-informed care

Research has shown that human experiences are stored in the body, as a somatic practice, we will engage the body and movement range to build and support coping skills, and to recognize healthy or maladaptive movement patterns related to behavior. The range of our work together can look like movement as an expression, as an exploration of non-verbal communication, and/or somatic processing of emotions. I offer a safe space to co-create your therapeutic goals, rediscover your authentic self, and honor what truly makes your heart smile. “The teeth are smiling but what about the heart?”- African Proverb
