Welcome! Creating Connections is a culturally sensitive practice, and our therapists are passionate about helping. My name is Ebony Carter, I am a Licensed Master’s Social Worker in the State of New York and Texas. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Long Island University. My approach to counseling is to meet the clients where they are at and to help foster the healing process. I understand that making the decision to start therapy is a difficult one. I am here for you, to help and work beside you to develop a plan to facilitate positive change. I use a client centered approach, which is empathetic and nonjudgmental. I also utilize cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing treatment modalities, which allows for self-awareness and emotional growth. I am a caring person and have a passion to see others win.
