My approach is client centered with an inclusion of CBT and DBT techniques. This means that I listen first to understand you, your personal and unique experiences, and then work with you to support you in reaching your goals for therapy.
I will provide insight, education, while also making sure to call you inward (instead of calling you out) with kindness when you are ready to receive it.
My goal is to provide my individual clients and couples with the tools and skills necessary to know what to do, heal, and accomplish their therapy goals. The goal is not to keep you in therapy forever! Therefore, once that's accomplished we will discontinue therapy sessions.
