Welcome to the Center for Racial & Health Equity LLC. We are a new practice based out of Georgia and Pennsylvania with one goal-to provide innovative and culturally responsive care to diverse populations.
Black woman are often tasked to function with multiple identifies, navigating complex and oftentimes, competing demands. This added complexity impacts our ability to exist as our authentic selves, function cooperatively in our relationships, and be recipients of the emotional investment that we give to others. As a counselor and Black woman who herself has sought counseling, I understand the impact of intergenerational and trans-generational trauma, racism and other forms of discrimination, and other factors that hinders our ability to thrive.
As your counselor, my desire is to partner with you in a dynamic and collaborative journey towards restoration. We will approach your goals anticipating that you have the ability, capacity, and strengths to accomplish them. I use a multicultural approach, incorporating evidence-based practices and research to target experiences unique to our experiences as Black women.
