Description

I am pleased that you are considering me to support you on your healing journey. I find it very rewarding to help individuals integrate more balance into their lives – particularly during this difficult time, where, for many of us, coping through the stress of so much is a major challenge.

My main goal is to support you on your journey to gain more clarity and direction in order for you to maximize your fullest potential and to really live and tap into your purpose. It’s never too late to try again, regardless of past fears, failures, or shortcomings.

Using either a cognitive-behavioral or interpersonal approach, your sessions are tailored to your individual needs, and incorporate and reinforce the coping skills and strategies that will work best for you, including but not limited to aromatherapy, music, arts, sports, and writing techniques. I can support you in identifying and processing negative, self-defeating thoughts and behaviors that often hinder the progress you wish to make. In the safe space we create together, we move through the challenges to develop a greater love for yourself and work on the goals you have always wanted to achieve.

During my 10+ years of clinical training and work experience, I have been prepared to offer expert and competent treatment to people with a variety of mental health needs. I truly enjoy supporting clients diagnosed with and in need of support for depression, social phobias, fears, anxiety, race-based stressors, self-confidence concerns, and self-esteem challenges. Additionally, as a certified anger management specialist since 2014, I have helped several clients adapt and gain more positive meaning to life. In 2016, I completed my PhD in Clinical Psychology at Prairie View A & M University and interned at Hofstra University in New York.

It would be a pleasure and honor to work with you to live the life you want. I look forward to hearing from you!
