Description
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 10 years of clinical experience in working with the veteran population, and 12 years of experience in working with children & adolescents (post-baccalaureate & post-grad). I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing direct care to diverse populations. I received my Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from The Florida State University in 2007, and my Doctorate degree in Behavioral Health from The Arizona State University in 2019.
Through River Rise, LLC, I offer supportive therapy to aide in the increase of problem-solving skills, communication skills, coping strategies, conflict resolution techniques, and the strengthening of interpersonal relationships. Fostering a positive therapeutic relationship with each client is the foundation of treatment. I strive to work alongside my clients while working towards resolutions and creating opportunities for growth. Through behavioral health coaching and consultation, I aid clients and practices with the development of care pathways and individual health plans to improve chronic disease self-management. Education, training and counseling services to are provided to empower & implement a change in a person's behavior and way of thinking.
Effective July 1, 2021: care will be provided 100% virtually for the state of Georgia. Professional licensure in other states, forthcoming.
