Hi, I'm Dr. Pearis Jean. I am a licensed psychologist in Maryland and have PSYPACT approval to provide telehealth services in PSYPACT participating states (see https://psypact.gov/page/psypactmap ). I have a PhD in counseling psychology. I provided individual therapy and specialize in supporting individuals who identify as survivors of interpersonal violence (i.e., racial violence and trauma, intimate partner violence, and/or sexual violence). I use a relational cultural approach to support you in exploring how your relationships with yourself and others as well as your social identities impact your concerns and overall wellness. I believe that you are the expert on your own life and I use my expertise to support you in working towards your goals. I provide telehealth services during the week with limited session slots on the weekends. I am in-network for Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield Massachusetts (virtual network) for clients in Maryland. I am also able to see clients virtually in PSYPACT states but am an out-of-network provider and can provide you with a superbill for your insurance.
