Your heart is welcome here. Therapy is first and foremost a relational intervention, and I celebrate you for taking this first step to find a safe space where you can be seen, heard, and helped. I support Black women navigating journeys of grief and other stressful life events through a unique combination of in-person nature-based walk and talk therapy and online integrative therapy. If you are struggling, then I may be the right therapist for you.
I have been there. I know the suffering of unexpected loss on a personal level. I am also a doctoral level trained counseling psychologist who has maintained additional certifications in advanced grief counseling and clinical trauma since 2020. Possibly most important, spirituality is my highest value and at the core of all I am and all I do.
You can trust my care for your emotional and psychological needs. With more than 20 years of experience, I am here to support you through your healing process. Your unique story and path matter, and I am committed to walking beside you with empathy and understanding. If you are ready to take the next step of a consultation, I am here to receive you. Just sign up through my Wisdom Counseling Baltimore website.
Finally, I am a PPO Out-of-Network provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield plans, Aetna, Cigna, and United Healthcare, and use Reimbursify to help potential clients check their out-of-network benefits and process out-of-network claims and reimbursements. I also accept private pay clients who want to circumvent insurance altogether.
