Description
You've done everything "right," you've accomplished all your goals, and you still feel like you're not good enough.
You show up for everyone, all the time, even when you're tired and burned out and have very little, or no time to show up for yourself.
You have big dreams and goals, but there's something that keeps getting in the way, doubts in the back of your mind of whether you will be able to achieve these things while everyone else around you seems to be excelling and prospering.
Your feel overworked and undervalued.
You question whether any of this can change because as far back as you can remember, it's always been this way.
It doesn't have to be this way.
I am a trauma informed Licensed Psychologist who specializes in helping Black women to heal from unresolved, (often unidentified) childhood traumas and overcome perfectionism so they can know their worth and trust their inner wisdom.
I meet you right where you are and help you transform from that space. A lot of times, my clients start their work with me in a place where they are critical, harsh, and quite frankly mean to themselves, so I create a safe container and hold that space of compassion and unconditional positive regard until they are ready to hold it for themselves.
In therapy with me, we will address limiting beliefs and fears that keep you playing small while challenging narratives that tell you it’s selfish to ask for more in order to help you to heal from previous experiences that reinforce lack, scarcity, and staying in your comfort zone.
As a psychologist, I have supported people in healing from trauma, perfectionism, depression, anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, identity issues, helplessness, hopelessness, loneliness, and a variety of other concerns. I don’t fix people, because I don’t believe people are broken. I believe in healing. So, if you're ready to start your healing journey, let me go with you.
