Description
Many times, as women and especially mothers, we are expected to be the burden bearers for everyone in our lives while our cups are filled. We are often expected to be superwomen while suffering in silence. Do you need a space where you feel heard, understood, and are able to flourish? Do you need a space where you can reconnect to the person you were before you took on the world? Whether you are facing a major life decision, going through a transition, a new mom or more "seasoned" mom, or simply need to learn how to better manage your emotions, I want to help you come back to a place where you feel connected to yourself.
This is a safe and nurturing space for melanated women and mamas voices to be heard. As a licensed psychologist, my clinical focus includes anxiety, depression, relationship challenges and other women's issues. My niche includes working with melanated mamas from conception through pregnancy, the perinatal period, postpartum and beyond into motherhood.
I bring my experience as a Black woman, mama, and wife, into this sacred space of healing. A space where other melanated (or non-melanated) women and mamas can talk openly without fear of judgment about the challenges that come with mothering and being a melanated woman in this world. Please email me for a complimentary consultation.
