I am a licensed psychologist and clinical supervisor. I'm originally from the Midwest, but I have lived overseas, and have traveled extensively, all of which informs my practice.
I use a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach, which means that the focus of therapy is identifying your strengths, using them to alleviate areas of distress or frustration, incorporating ways to consistently promote and maintain growth, and ensuring that you have a support system in place to reinforce and continue the process outside of therapy.
My practice (LePiatz Psychology, LLC) is an inclusive practice, committed to the enhancement of people from diverse backgrounds, and welcomes and invites individuals from all categories of race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, religion, culture, educational background, identity, ability, and other minoritized identities to reach out for services.
I provide all tele-health services via Doxy.me, a HIPAA-compliant tele-health platform. While I am licensed in VA, DC, and WI, I also possess an E. Passport Certificate (PSYPACT), which allows me to provide tele-health to individuals who reside in the following states:
Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah
I do not take insurance - my self-pay fee ranges from$185-225 for a 45-50 minute session, for which you could possibly use your Flexible Spending Account of Health Savings Account. I can also provide a SuperBill for potential reimbursement from your insurance company.
