My approach to counseling integrates the use of Afrocentric practices, Mindfulness-Based practices, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. I specialize in supporting women who are experiencing challenges with self-esteem, perfectionism, shame, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, issues related to work-life balance, and challenges with prioritizing self-care. I encourage women to embrace who they truly and to show-up in their lives both authentically and unapologetically. Additionally, I support women in learning how to better prioritize their self-care by identifying ways to more effectively balance their needs and desires with those of others around them.
I strive to create a safe and supportive environment that allows individuals to feel valued, understood, and free to express their thoughts and emotions without fear of judgment. It would be an honor and privilege to be able to support you on your journey of personal growth and self-exploration.
