Welcome to Taylor Counseling and Consulting Services, where our mission is to provide culturally-sensitive services tailored to the unique needs of every client. We specialize in providing individual, family, and couples counseling services to the Black community. Specifically, our clients are Black women and men seeking healthy relationships with themselves and others as they work towards building healthy families in the midst of healing from race related traumas. These traumas could the result of longstanding painful experiences from childhood, feelings of oppression from your work or school environment, or even pain felt from today’s current cultural climate. We work to help our client’s highlight the role this trauma is now playing in their lives and discover ways to create healthier experiences.
The decision to seek counseling services can be difficult and scary, especially when thinking about sharing the most painful parts of your life with others. In our work together we will work through the hurt to create a new understanding, and implement new solutions. The ultimate goal in this work is for you to feel more connected, stronger, and healthier. We want our clients to feel valued, supported, and able to carry out their most sacred life goals.
