In life we all experience stressors, hardships, and sometimes trauma. These experiences shape our perception and the lens in which we see the world and ourselves. Using an integrative approach of cognitive-behavioral, rational emotive behavior, and dialectical-behavioral therapies, I assist my clients to become whole and healed by learning a new way of responding. In addition, using comprehensive psychological evaluations, I decipher difficult and-or multiple diagnoses, assess an individual's emotional and cognitive functioning, and innate abilities for a variety of purposes including forensic evaluations and expert testimony.
Clinically, I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who have experienced significant trauma. My areas of specialty are self-esteem, emotion regulation, and relationship difficulties. All evaluations are based on Best Practices and are structured to gather objective information about the individual using research to support the findings.
I am culturally sensitive and acknowledge the many dimensions of my clients' needs such as the incorporation of spirituality and religion. I believe that everyone should be given an opportunity to heal, which is why I am happy to offer my services on a sliding fee scale.
