I am a doctorally prepared, multi-state-licensed, and board-certified family psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and I have been working in the mental health field for over a decade. I received my doctorate, master’s, and bachelors from Chamberlain University and post-master’s certificate from the University of Cincinnati. For the past 10 years, I have worked in several settings including inpatient and outpatient, correctional, community, and academic settings. Expertise includes Psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy. Throughout my career, I have worked with pediatric through geriatric populations along with their caregivers and other members of the inter/intradisciplinary team, but my current patient focus is adults only (18 through 65years).
