Thank you for visiting my page and for taking the time to explore ways to heal. My name is Dr. Felicia Murray (she/her/hers) and I am the lead therapist at Grounded Minds Counseling. I identify as a cis-gender, heterosexual, Black woman. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) currently providing telehealth services throughout Texas. I am currently accepting new clients.
As a social worker and therapist, my goal is to help empower you to maximize your personal assets and to facilitate the learning of new skills as needed. My therapeutic style is relational, collaborative, strengths-based, and solution-focused. I ask targeted questions to help you identify negative patterns and unlock solutions by developing skills to increase self-confidence, maintain healthy personal boundaries, and promote personal healing. To that end, I incorporate a variety of evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Practices, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I will partner with you to identify the best strategies for long-term, lasting growth and results.
