Group Therapy Details

1. Perinatal and Postpartum Support Group (Virtual)
Support Group is supportive space for women to come together and share their experiences, struggles, and triumphs related to pregnancy and postpartum adjustment. Our group is led by professionals who provide guidance, encouragement, and resources to empower women on their parenting journeys. Through discussions, activities, and peer support, women can gain a sense of community and belonging, and feel less alone in their mental health challenges. We focus on issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, and relationship issues, to name a few.
2. Trauma Processing Group (In-person/Virtual)
This is a processing group for trauma survivors. This virtual group is intended to create an intentional, safe space for survivors to connect and support each other in their healing from trauma. Each group session will provide members with an understanding of trauma and increase awareness about the impact of trauma on various aspects of life, including mental and emotional health, relationship patterns, and life satisfaction. Members get information to assist them with gaining greater insight into recognizing and understanding trauma triggers and responses, leading to less shame, improved confidence and self-esteem, and development of healthier coping strategies. Each group will include a check-in, discussion, and check-out.
