Hey sis, I see you.

You are smart, capable, and maybe tired. Not just sleepy tired. Soul tired. The kind of tired that does not always show on the outside because you have learned how to keep moving, keep smiling, keep producing, and keep showing up.

Your mind stays on. Your responsibilities stay stacked. People depend on you, and somewhere along the way, you may have started carrying things you never asked for and never had a safe place to fully name.
At Haven Counseling and Empowerment Services, I provide therapy for Black women, adults, and college students who are navigating anxiety, overthinking, adult ADHD symptoms, burnout, work stress, identity shifts, motherhood and the mental load, and family, friendship, or relationship wounds that still show up in how you think, cope, love, lead, and move through life.

Therapy here is not about performing wellness. Before any intervention, I believe there has to be safety, honesty, and trust. You need room to be real.

My approach is warm, direct, culturally responsive, and integrative. I draw from evidence-based practices including CBT, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, strength-based work, and DBT-informed skills, depending on what you need and what supports your growth. If your faith is important to you, I also offer faith-integrated therapy upon request.

I bring clinical training, leadership experience, private practice experience, and lived experience to this work. I know what therapy can do because I have experienced its impact from the other side of the couch and screen. It changed my life for the better, and I believe deeply in creating a space where you can tell the truth, breathe, unpack what is heavy, and move toward meaningful change.
You do not have to carry everything alone.

When you are ready to show up for yourself, I am here with care, honesty, and steady support.
