Description

Is your Child or Teen having problems with anxiety, depression, or self-esteem issues? Is your family having significant parent-child conflict? I want to help you & your family achieve a healthier life. Adolescents and young adults have unique challenges that can be difficult to navigate. During these critical periods in life, many may face peer issues, family conflict, self-esteem difficulty, parent-child conflict, and difficulty with transitions (e.g., high school to college; college to career). I have approximately 10 years of experience working with these age groups. Currently, I am also available to see young adult clients.

Overall, I approach therapy from a culturally/racially sensitive perspective. I believe that one’s cultural experiences can significantly impact mental health and the ways that one chooses to cope. Therefore, I utilize an African-centered approach when working with clients. Additionally, I believe in empowering and teaching my clients skills and strategies

While I understand that reaching out to a therapist can be anxiety-provoking, please know that I am here to support you. I offer FREE consultations for potential clients who are contemplating beginning therapy and I will respond within 24-48 hours. **Click on the "Website" link to book your free consultation.**I am Eligible to practice in over 30 STATES!**

Group Therapy for Black Women
We do not heal in isolation. Many people are turning to group therapy to make sense of the global health pandemic, racial injustices, and violence against women. Each meeting, we’ll get together for 90 minutes to center ourselves before initiating in communal dialogue to support and give feedback to one another. If you identify as a Black woman and you know you’re in need of a space like this, join us for our virtual group. Sign up today!
