Dr. Celeste Jackson is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and received her Ph.D. in Community Psychology at National Louis University; having studied protective factors and resilience in children and families impacted by incarceration. Celeste also has a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Celeste has experience working with individuals, groups, families, adolescents, couples, and court-mandated clients in a variety of settings including both community and private practices with an array of presenting concerns including anxiety, depression, relational issues, stress, grief, and anger. Her current specializations include working with youth and young adults dealing with single-event or episodic trauma and life changing events at home, school or work.
Celeste utilizes an integrative approach to counseling, incorporating fundamental perspectives of Relational and Person-Centered Therapy with elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to truly make the therapeutic process an individual and holistic experience for each client. She believes that each encounter is an opportunity to grow, build and challenge ourselves and she strives to set the platform for clients to come and do just that in every session.

“It is my belief that all of us have a purpose and our lives are most fulfilled when we walk in that purpose. Everyday challenges have the potential to disrupt our paths. My goal is to help you work through those challenges by putting the power in your hands and being present on your journey as you reclaim your purpose and initiate the change you wish to see in your life.”
