Dr. Cedrina Ruffin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 14 years of experience providing long-term and brief Social Work interventions to adults and children. Dr. Ruffin earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, Masters of Social Work degree from Southern University at New Orleans, and her Doctoral Degree from Walden University. Dr. Ruffin currently works as an adult and child psychotherapist, providing individual, group, family and couples therapy in the Houston Metropolitan area. Dr. Ruffin has been able to therapeutically touch the lives of many mental health clients, dealing with depression, grief, anxiety, behavioral, family and relationship issues, self-esteem, communication and personal and professional growth. Utilizing evidence-based techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness, it is her goal to help clients understand their feelings, emotions, and symptoms, with a focus on solving their problems, while changing their behaviors.
