Description

I am a NYS licensed clinical psychologist. As a helping professional, I believe you are the driver of your own bus. My job as your co-pilot is to guide, encourage, and challenge you to help you accomplish the goals you've set for yourself. I believe therapy is a place where you grow into the person you'd like to be, learn more about yourself, develop your strengths, and maneuver challenging experiences and I look forward to helping you along your journey.

My approach to treatment is collaborative and supportive and incorporates an integration of CBT, psychodynamic, trauma-focused, feminist, and person-centered techniques. I am committed to providing quality services which consider the impact of individual and cultural diversity on one's ability to navigate through life.

I primarily treats adults on an individual basis who are struggling to manage depression and anxiety and seeking support through trauma, grief, relationship problems, and life transitions, including those related to pregnancy, employment, and academia. I have extensive training and experience working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual abuse/assault, community violence, and war. I have also treated people with severe mental illness, depression, PTSD and other trauma-related disorders, and anxiety.
