Description

Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming. You want someone who truly understands your needs, values your culture, and uses proven tools to help. I am a Johns Hopkins-trained bilingual psychologist and have been extensively trained in trauma-informed and evidence-based approaches to treat childhood, religious, and migration trauma, anxiety, depression, and interpersonal stress. As a bilingual and multicultural psychologist, I use a socially conscious lens to understand the complex challenges my clients face. Whether you're working through emotional challenges, family dynamics, or identity development, my goal is to support you in building tools for resilience, deepening self-understanding, and creating meaningful change.

I am an empathic, patient, and supportive clinician who will challenge you. I will create a space where you feel seen, heard, and validated, while gently pushing you forward to achieve your goals. My clinical work is rooted in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, where we balance the difficulties of your current situation with a compassionate commitment to growth.

Outside the therapy room, I’m also a researcher focused on improving mental health access and outcomes for historically marginalized youth and families. I’m passionate about emotional wellness, language justice, and holding space for healing that’s real, nuanced, and culturally rooted.

I am licensed in Georgia, Maryland, Virginia, and Florida, and I also see clients virtually in PsyPact states.
