Description
I have a background in Psychology, Psychotherapy, and Crisis Intervention. As a licensed therapist, I feel that providing a safe space, free of judgement, is essential to helping individuals gain a better understanding and discover strategies to improve their functioning and relationships with others. I'm trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Person-Centered Brief Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. By using a variety of therapeutic approaches, I engage clients and foster a nurturing environment for growth. I enjoy working with a diverse population including geriatric and at risk youth.
I have clinical experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults suffering from trauma, anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, conduct disorders, anger, grief, self-esteem, adjustment, and other common challenges experienced in their daily lives.
My role is to respect the values and goals of the client, while being authentic and objective throughout the therapeutic process. My goal is to restore hopefulness. I offer flexible and convenient hours, including weekends.
