I provide a space free of judgment and shame. Through individual therapy, I help my clients gain a greater awareness of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and develop healthy coping techniques for maladaptive thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Therapy offers a healthy and empathetic atmosphere in which your life experiences can be discussed, and any concerns that cause anxiety and stress can be resolved. Together we can create expectations for what you want to accomplish in therapy at the beginning of the therapeutic relationship and begin to build a plan for how to achieve those goals.
I strive to help my clients help themselves in identifying their current strengths while also working together to add to their toolkit. My go to approaches include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy and mindfulness using a trauma informed, strengths-based lens. I am experienced in working with adolescents and adults.
