Description
My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental, and empowering space for people to explore the depths of their emotions, thoughts and feelings. Using supportive reflection and a strengths-based perspective, I approach each situation with empathy.
As a clinical social worker, I help individuals and couples who are struggling with a wide range of emotional and interpersonal problems. My speciality includes helping adolescents and adults who are struggling with an eating disorder. I received my clinical training at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Westchester Division.
Since therapy is a guided journey to gain insight and resilience, and improve communication and decision-making skills, I design treatments to encourage an individual to choose a positive path. I utilize evidenced based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to help you find relief from troubling thoughts and behaviors.
