I have a passion for educating others about the importance of effective communication, healthy boundaries, relationships, and stress management. Feeling misunderstood and unheard can lead to stress and unproductive behaviors which can damage relationships. We all have a desire to be heard and understood, I can provide tools and skills that can assist in getting those needs met appropriately.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (in the State of Georgia) and National Certified Counselor. I am currently working to obtain my doctorate degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from Mercer University. I received my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University (Atlanta).
I have an interest in understanding the impact of pregnancy and motherhood on women and their relationships. Change can bring about uncertainty and I can support you with a nonjudgmental approach as you face any new challenges that arise.
I also enjoy facilitating groups and believe in the importance of feeling connected to others who are going through similar circumstances. One benefit of group therapy is knowing that you are not alone in your struggles. Please contact me to see what groups are being offered at this time.
