I am a fully licensed professional counselor. I provide a safe judgment free zone for women and men of color to explore and process your thoughts and feelings you may not share with anyone else. I encourage gentle confrontation, validation, and support to increase ones self-efficacy and self awareness. I also partner with couples and families to provide therapy and teach effective interpersonal skills training to help improve your relationships.
I enjoy working with women, adolescents, couples and families with a myriad of issues. I have success in helping individuals manage the effects of trauma, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, chronic stress management, and life adjustments. Challenging relationship concerns, personal development and self-esteem are additional areas of interest.
I offer an empathetic ear and substantial therapeutic skill set to help you create and discover the best version of yourself. I utilize Trauma focused CBT, and DBT among other techniques which have been proven to help reduce distress, improve interpersonal relationships, and allow individuals manage their moods and thoughts more effectively.
