Making the decision to begin therapy is not the easiest. People go back and forth about whether it will work, or if you will find a good fit; some also worry about the "stigma" associated with therapy. Well I am here to congratulate and thank you for taking the first step - let me help with the next. I use a relational approach to create a space that helps clients work on challenging issues, understand how thoughts contribute to behavior, and develop strategies to cope.
My area of specialty is crisis intervention with adolescents. I specialize in providing treatment to adolescents who have a history of self-harm, suicidal ideations and/or hospitalization. I also use art therapy, music and talk therapy to address issues that may contribute to behavioral and mood changes.
I have an open, inviting and non-judgmental space geared toward your growth and development. My practice offers individual and group therapy, workshops and crisis prevention services.
