I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University and received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Nevada State College. I have been a local to Las Vegas since my youth and have dedicated my professional endeavors to giving back to the Las Vegas community. Working in Nevada for more than 7 years has afforded me experiences that have been essential in developing the foundation of my knowledge and skill-set in therapy.
My therapeutic practice is founded in Existentialism and includes working with individuals, families, couples, groups, and children. I specialize in trauma prevention, intervention, and processing where I utilize humanistic therapeutic tools such as Narrative Therapy, Expressive Therapy, Gestalt techniques, Parts and Memory and Play Therapy.
I believe in the importance of establishing safe and authentic connections with others and I focus on confronting self-awareness, each person’s unique identity that can be known only through relationships with others, the meaning of life in constant change, and accepting anxiety as part of the human condition.
