Taking a new journey is a difficult choice with itself and although therapy has become more popular in recent years, there continues to be a stigma attached to it. Collectively, everyone should be able to talk to a professional who is unbiased and able to encourage them to establish and maintain healthier outcomes. My only promise is that I will provide a safe place for you to express your concerns and listen wholeheartedly without judgment to figure out the best way(s) to proceed. My goal is to not further complicate things, but to ensure you better understand your emotions and compartmentalize conflicting thoughts, emotions and/or behaviors you may experience.
I am experienced in working with a variety of mental health issues, including trauma, sexual abuse, relationship issues, lack of motivation, and other issues using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and other modalities as I continue to educate myself. I provide individual and family therapy, as well as couples and groups ages 10-99.
I applaud you in advance for taking this journey and making self-care a priority. Although there is not a book that will fix all of your problems nor is there quick solutions to some of the things you are facing, we will collaborate and move forward with the best outcomes. If I am not a good fit for you, I will do my best to help you do so. Trust the process.
