I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Sacramento, CA. I have been practicing for over 12 years and I emphatically believe in treating the whole person--mind, body and soul. I have a passion for working with individuals who are searching for clarity, perspective, and insight into their deepest thoughts, feelings and desires. I love helping my clients develop insight and awareness into their behavior and seeing them gain understanding into why they keep making the same unhealthy decisions over and over again in different areas of their lives. Your "quality world" has everything to do with your thought process and your decision making. In my practice, I work with individuals, couples and families who are struggling with: Co-dependency, relationship difficulties, change of life transitions (empty-nest, retirement, divorce, birth or death, etc.), religious abuse or faith/spirituality issues, self-esteem or self-confidence issues, eating disorders, stress, anxiety, depression, time management, financial stress or money management issues, life balance, self-care, insight or self-awareness, anger management, cultural or diversity issues, body image and self-acceptance. I also have success working with women of color on discrimination, assimilation, and complex trauma issues resulting from childhood abuse.
