Black Align Self-discovery & Wellness fosters a culturally sacred and emotionally safe space where individuals of divergent backgrounds are encouraged to freely and candidly discuss their lived traumas. Through this work we unveil aspirations for healing in a conversational manner without fear of judgment, lack of understanding or misdiagnosis. Far too often in the therapeutic space, BIPOC folk have been stigmatized, misunderstood, misdiagnosed, overmedicated and have had their individual experiences minimized. Black Align Self-discovery & Wellness was created with these truths in mind, prioritizing people of color while maintaining a full commitment to providing wellness services to those of diverse racial, ethnic, gender and religious identities.
