I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Afro-Latina, and Native New Yorker with 12 years of experience in the mental health field. I have worked in a variety of settings serving children, adolescents, and adults with a range of mental health challenges, backgrounds and experiences. My therapeutic style is eclectic and I utilize therapeutic approaches that are informed by Psychodynamic, Relational, Holistic, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral, and Family Systems Therapy.
I offer a safe, reflective, supportive, and affirming space in my private practice and help my clients make meaningful connections, develop more self-awareness, improve communication skills and make choices aligned with their healing and wellness. I help clients learn healthy ways to cope with stress and explore the life events and experiences that have profoundly impacted them. I aim to create a collaborative and empowering environment for my clients to explore their innermost fears and desires. I work with adults of all ethnicities, genders, and sexualities. My worldview is inclusive, intersectional, justice-oriented, LGBTQ affirming, body, sex, and pleasure positive. I adopt an anti-oppression/anti-racist stance in my work.
**Currently, I only have limited availability on Wednesday evenings and Saturdays. Only accepting clients for online, adult, individual psychotherapy. My fee is $170 and I'm not in-network with any insurance providers.**
