Dana McKenzie is passionate about restoring individuals and families to their BEST life! That passion is the driving force behind Restore Family Counseling. Dana came to southwest Virginia to attend Virginia Tech where she met the love her life, her husband William. Together, they have settled in the Roanoke Valley and are raising three amazing children.
Launching Restore is the fulfillment of a dream for Dana and is the culmination of years of experience in social work, counseling and foster care management. She has worked in various community services agencies where her primary focus was assisting families. This experience led to her time in a private practice where she was able to develop her skills as a therapist.
Dana is a Licensed Professional Counselor who holds her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Virginia Tech and a Master of Arts Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Outside of work, she is an active leader at her church and a very involved wife and mother.
