Life can be overwhelming and stressful due to the obstacles we're challenged with. Events from the past can be affecting the thoughts and feelings experienced in the present? Sometimes we just need to temporarily escape and reflect on our thoughts and responses to our stressors. These stressors can lead to more obstacles such as Depression, substance use, family conflict, relationship issues, anxiety and behavioral issues etc. I created "Czyz Counseling Escape Room" for my clients to have a safe space to mentally escape to and receive the support and skills they need to better navigate through life obstacles.
I use the CBT approach to therapy, Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a form of psychological treatment that has been demonstrated to be effective for a range of problems including depression, anxiety disorders, substance abuse and marital problems. research studies suggest that CBT leads to significant improvement in functioning and quality of life.
