Description
As above, so below, as within, so without, as the universe, so the soul…” Hermes Trismegistus
Do you ever feel that past experiences have affected you deeply, fundamentally altering the way you perceive yourself and the world around you? Are you often misunderstood or trapped in your emotions? Our past experiences can lead to stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma. To protect ourselves, our brains create barriers, but these barriers can also disconnect us from ourselves and others, hindering personal growth and disrupting relationships. These thoughts and emotions can feel overwhelming, robbing us of the connections and joy we desire in life.
I am committed to creating a safe and inclusive space for all of my clients. My approach is trauma-focused, and I have extensive experience helping individuals who have experienced trauma, anxiety, stress, depression, and conflict. I incorporate mindfulness, meditation, and breath work into my sessions, using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Cognitive Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Attachment Theory, and others. I am particularly passionate about working with BIPOC and LGBTQIA communities, as well as Neurodivergent children and families navigating the education system.
My primary specializations are trauma, depression, anxiety, stress management, conflict, grief, and PTSD. I also have experience in working with Kink/BDSM lifestyle dynamics, polyamory/non-monogamous relationships, and other alternative forms of couple/familial bonds. My goal is to help others find their own path towards healing and growth. Whether working with individuals, couples, or families, my dedication is to help my clients cultivate the resilience and self-compassion they need to thrive
