We live in a world full of labeling. I believe that before you can accept or reject a label from society, it's important to know yourself. My goal in my practice is to create a safe, welcoming environment that explores how lived experiences shape who we are. I work with individuals that desire to explore their identities, after being impacted by anxiety, trauma, major life changes and depression. The journey to discovering one's identity is always personal, and no two experiences are the same. I take the journey with my clients, helping them build a culturally relevant foundation formed by their unique strengths. Along the way, we work together to establish successful strategies related to healthy boundaries, empathy and self-regulation of one's emotions to live a more fulfilled and intentional life.
As a certified financial social worker, I also use my clinical skills to explore the psychological, behavioral, social and environmental influences that shape our individual relationships with money. Financial stability plays an important role in our overall well-being, and a part of healing ourselves, is healing from financial decisions and experiences that have negatively impacted our lives. I create a safe, non-judgmental environment to discuss these factors, uncover insights, and create actionable steps you can take towards enrichment, prosperity and freedom.
I have over ten years of experience as a social worker, and I am excited to combine my passion for financial literacy, mental health and identity to help my clients step into their true power
