Description

Sometimes we have unrealistic expectations and idealistic perspectives that get in the way of true happiness and authenticity. In addition, trauma can be a barrier to leading a fulfilling life. By identifying, processing, and overcoming these barriers, we can begin to create the next chapter of your life as you desire. Yes, you get to create your own narrative for your life. Be empowered and encouraged by your resilience and capabilities.

My counseling style is warm and personable. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. In our sessions, you can come as you are. This is your safe place. We will work on your journey, at your pace, with no judgment. I am here to support you in becoming the best version of the already remarkable person you are! The treatment modalities I most commonly use are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

I have over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I have worked with children and adults of diverse backgrounds and in multiple settings including inpatient psychiatric hospital, the school system, and community mental health. I have worked with clients experiencing a wide range of obstacles such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, family concerns, and grief and loss.
