Clarissa Cannon born and raised in Los Angeles California, now serves the community by providing psychotherapy mental health services for Department of Children and Families (foster youths). Clarissa graduated from University of Southern California with her master’s in social work of May 2018. Her concentration of focus was macro targeting concepts such as policy, programming, consulting and business. She is now associate clinical social worker registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences. She possesses a few certification and trainings to better serve at risk youth through the foster care system. Clarissa has background in Trauma Informed therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Motivational Interview. She enjoys he role as a therapist and hope to one day have her own community mental health agency.
