My name is Cierra, and I am an LCSW with over 10 years of experience working with individuals who have experienced anxiety, depression, mood symptoms and past traumas. Often times, you may fear being vulnerable. We are taught that if you are vulnerable, it is a sign of weakness, and you will end up hurt somehow. But what if I told you sometimes vulnerability is needed to heal! Through vulnerability, a person can take back the power that was once taken from them. It allows a safe and open space for one to express their thoughts, emotions and feelings and share past traumas or current life stressors in a nonjudgmental space that will help build resiliency and courage.
I live to empower high functioning women to get through the struggles of different symptoms that may be hindering the progression of finding self-love and developing a better understanding of their selves.
Seeking therapy allows you to start a journey of healing. It allows you to pick apart the things in life that you may have experienced and continues to hinder and stop you from progressing in a direction that will help you find peace. Engaging in a therapeutic relationship also allows you to learn how to love and value yourself worth to help you maintain healthy boundaries and relationships with others while on your journey to healing.
My goal to help individuals overcome adversity and life situations. I help individuals work through life situations at their own pace to break down the very things that have been causing symptoms that stop advancement. I believe that through the methods of motivational interviewing and mindfulness, I will be able to help you achieve your goals and be the best person you can be for yourself.
