Description
I help BIPOC (black, indigenous, people of color) overcome anxiety, burnout, and racial trauma so they can live life liberated and with ease.
I am a Black biracial associate clinical social worker who is passionate about breaking the stigma of mental health in our communities. My mission is to decolonize therapy practice and support the healing of those who hold marginalized identities. I offer virtual therapy which allows you to receive quality care from your own home or chosen sacred space. My practice is intended to curate a space for you to come as you are and tell your story without judgment. Together we can address your goals and I can provide the tools and support for your healing.
My approach incorporates attachment theory, boundary work, as well as intergenerational and racialized trauma. Through ongoing personal self-reflection and professional education, I aim to provide holistic, culturally responsive, LGBTQ+ affirming, and liberation-centered care. You are the expert on your life story, during our sessions together I will empower you to set the pace of your healing. Along with talk therapy, I am also able to incorporate mind-body exercises, psychoeducation, and tarot cards to aid in your healing process. I am an ACSW supervised by Cynthia Soria, LCSW.
